Due to Smoke, LHS Will Conduct All Classes Inside Today, Friday, May 18
Due to the smoky conditions caused by the Hewlett fire, LHS will be conducting all classes inside today, Friday, May 18.
Yearbook Distribution Begins Friday, May 18, 3 to 5 PM
Yearbooks are here! Distribution will begin on Friday, May 18 from 3 – 5 PM in the LHS cafeteria. You must have an ID to pick up your book. If you cannot pick up your yearbook on Friday, distribution will continue the following week of May 21 – 23, Monday – Wednesday, during lunch and after school. Beginning on Thursday, May 24, yearbooks may be picked up from Bookkeeping.
We will also have yearbooks for sale for $80. There is a limited amount of extras, so get one quick!
AP Testing May 7 – 18

Students taking AP exams are reminded to arrive at their test site no later than 7:45 AM for morning exams and 11:45 AM for afternoon exams. Be sure to come prepared with #2 lead pencils, a black or blue pen, and a calculator, if required. No cells phones should be brought to the testing room. Bring a jacket or sweater in case the room is cool.
Students are reminded to park in the southern most part of the parking lot at Administration and enter through the east door except those in Human Geography who enter in the south doors.

May 2012 Finals Schedule
Finals are scheduled for Monday, May 21 through Thursday, May 24: Finals Schedule
Seniors: Check-Out Forms and Graduation Rehearsal
- Be sure to pick up your senior check-out forms on Monday, May 21, from Mr. Frei in the cafeteria before school and during period 1.
- Seniors are required to attend the graduation rehearsal Thursday, May 24 at 8 AM. This is mandatory. Please see Mr. Frei if you have questions.

Register for Summer Classes by June 1
Thompson School District will offer two options for taking high school summer classes. Please contact your school counselor before signing up for either of these options.
1. Credit Recovery – through PLATO – for students who have failed a required class needed for graduation.
2. First-Time Credit – through Thompson Online with Aventa – for students who want to take a class over the summer to free up their schedule in the fall.

Summer Academy of Music is open for registration.
This summer program is for band, orchestra or choir students in grades 9-12.This information can be found on the district’s website under Summer School Registration. If you have questions, contact Monica Brundeen at the Administration Building at 613-5032.

Summer Food Program, June 4 – Aug. 3
Thompson School District’s Summer Food Program is free for kids (18 months to 18 years old) and there is a small charge for adults. It runs from June 4 – August 3, Monday – Friday, from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
